The festival of universal love is here again. Christmas, which is more than a festival is the solemn occasion to remember Jesus, his life and ultimate sacrifice and his message of compassion and brotherhood.
Regardless of caste and creed, Keralites celebrate Christmas with great pomp and merry making. It is also an occasion for family reunion, feast and picnics. Hindu and Muslim friends are invited to Christian homes to partake in the Christmas feast. Streets will be dotted with a variety of Christmas markets and exhibitions.
