Location
: 200 nautical miles from South West coast of India,
by flight to Agatti airport and by boat (1-1/2 hours
- 8 km) to Bangaram Island Resort
Accommodation : 30 huts including a few for family of
4 in two twin/double cottages. To make holiday comfortable
without disturbance, television, telephone, newspaper
and air-conditioning have been kept out.
Recreation
: Sailing, boating, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, Scuba
diving. Entry Permit : All visitors to Lakshadweep Islands
will require an entry permit. Advance information like
Name, address, place and date of birth, passport number,
date and place of issue and expiry will be required.The
Jewel of the Lakshadweep, Bangaram island is uninhabited
except for occasional visitors from the nearest island,
Agatti, where the airport is situated. Bangaram
presents a breathtaking spectacle of sparkling coral
reefs, turquoise blue lagoons, silvery beaches and lush
green coconut palms. All preserved in the State
just as the first discoverers would have found them.
Scuba diving and Deep Sea fishing are some of the activities.
Bangaram is an uninhabited island, a full 48 hectares
of lush green coconut grove surrounded by 60 sq. km
of blue lagoon, abundant in Marine flora & fauna.
The legend has that the island was discovered by a group
of shipwrecked sailors in 4th century AD. Bangaram Island
Resort is situated on a serene beach with all the modern
amenities & facility for scuba diving & other

to Bangaram Island Resort is by boat. During monsoon,

At the heat of the Bangaram Island Resort is the restaurant
hut made out of bamboo and palm fronds, constructed around
one tall central pole. The food is Indian and continental,
with an emphasis on local seafood. A barbecue is lit on
the beach by night and the dinner is served outside. There
is also a bar hut, which serves beer and a range of cocktails.
Bangaram Island Resort offers a wide range of leisure
activities from scuba diving, snorkeling, catamaran sailing,
deep sea fishing, rafting and kayaking. For those who
just love to soak in sun, the vast island is a great place
to walk and explore. One can also play beach volleyball

Set in 128 acres, the accommodation at Bangaram Island
Resort are in 30 tiled roof beach huts, each with palm-thatched
